Schirmfoto

Schirmfoto is a small application that allows you to take screenshots in the simplest way possible: it adds a small button to each window, just to the left of the usual close, maximize, and minimize buttons.

That way, once you've installed the application, you can take a screenshot of any window just by clicking this button. After you take a screenshot, a new window will appear in which you can make some minor edits to your capture, like cropping, adding text, drawing figures, etc. When you've finished editing you can even upload the results to a social network like Facebook or Twitter.

Of course, you can always use the traditional 'print screen' button to take similar screenshots, if you so choose.
